Meet Dr. Christine Wilson
DVMDr. Christine Wilson was born and raised in the Bronx. She attended the Bronx High School of Science, and received her undergraduate and veterinary degrees from Cornell University. While in school, she spent her summers working at the Bronx Zoo, and completed an externship there during her final year at Cornell.
Dr. Wilson practiced in Connecticut and on Long Island before settling in South Salem, where she joined Pound Ridge Veterinary Center. She has a special interest in internal medicine and cardiology. Her love of veterinary medicine is deeply rooted in her desire to provide quality compassionate care to animals, while pursuing her love of medicine in a field that is constantly evolving in exciting ways.
Dr. Wilson lives in South Salem and has two children, Zachary and Emery. She volunteers at the Wolf Conservation Center, and has watched it grow from its humble beginnings into a state-of-the-art research and teaching facility. In her free time, she spends time with her family, camping and kayaking, time at the beach, and of course, hiking with her best buddy Hugo, her senior mixed breed rescue.
